My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A24692 Poppy is a black and white colored, approximately 4-year-old, 7-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 01-03-2024 due to the fact she will randomly pounce on you and playfully bite, or scratch and she has children who were scared by it.
Poppy is a friendly, social, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is a playful sweet pea. That she likes being pet and will push her head into you for more love. She loved exploring the playroom and sniffed everything, went into each cubby, on every shelf and under everything she could. A very curious girl. She also liked playing with the feather toys. She does give some kitten nipping bites when she is over stimulated and excited. Not mean or angry, just playing. The previous owner says she is litterbox trained and has lived with children, but no other pets. Poppy will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.
