Meet Sugar, or Sugie (Sh-u-gie)as his friends call him! Sugar is a playful and affectionate cat who likes to spend his days people watching in the window or on top of cabinets and taking some play breaks in between. Sugie is such a sweet boy that when you sneeze he even offers a little meow as if to say bless you! Sugie is a nervous boy here in shelter and will need time to adjust to his new home and people. In his home he loves being around his humans and when they have guests over he may hide for a little bit, but he does like to come out after a little and say "hello" to his new friends who are clearly only there to see him. Sugie would really love to meet you and, hopefully, come home with you today!
Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully.

All cat adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccine
-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV/FIV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
