My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Simba!

I may be a big guy at 71 pounds, but inside, I’m just a 10-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a dream of finding my forever family. Life’s been a little rough lately—my owner moved out of state for a new job, and my family couldn’t keep me, so here I am, waiting for a fresh start.

This shelter can be loud and scary, and I’ll admit, I feel safest hanging out at the back of my kennel. But don’t let that fool you—I’m as sweet as can be and ready to open up my heart to someone who’ll love me. I’ve been told I’m fantastic with kids and other dogs, and I’m house and crate trained, which means I’m already a superstar at home life. Oh, and I know how to sit when you ask me (especially if you have treats)!

I’ve got a stunning white and brown coat, all my shots are up to date, and I’ve already been neutered. You can find me in cage #831, and my ID is 7243.

I might need a little time and patience to feel completely at ease, but once I do, I promise to be the best companion you could ever ask for. Let’s start this new chapter together—come meet me and see if I’m the perfect match for you!
