Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buckaroo Samboy is a good 'ol boy and fits nicely with his foster home and foster siblings, both male and female, all humans and even goats. He is good on a leash and likes his car rides. Buck is between 3.5 and 4 years old and would love a home with a doggie door. He loves to come and go, but prefers to spend most of his time outside and can feel stressed if confined for too long.
Poorly healed fractures in his rear long bones tell a story not only of no treatment provided when they occurred but that he had repeated fractures at different times with the cause of at least one bullet. We have no way of knowing when, where, or why someone chose to shoot this gentle soul nor why he was neglected so severely.
Because of his injuries, Buck cannot climb or jump a fence, but he does test fences, looking for opportunities he can push through or crawl under. He's not a full-time digger, but if thinks there's a way to sneak under a fence, he'll dig a bit. He currently wears a tracker, just so his fosters are always in the know as to where he is on the property, but he generally moves slowly and has good recall.
Anyone interested in this sweet boy must have secure fencing with anti-dig barriers of some sort.
