My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gloria is a fabulous brown tabby with a personality as unforgettable as the hit song that shares her name! She might have a “special” eye, but don’t let that fool you - this unique feature only adds to her charm and makes her even more of a star.

Here’s the scoop: Gloria has some scarring on her right eye, which limits her vision. Think of it like looking through a frosted window - she can still see shadows and movements, but not the finer details. The scarring is permanent, but it doesn’t bother her one bit, and she’s completely comfortable. It just gives her a little extra character!

Gloria may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels at home, her sweetness will blow you away. She’s got the moves, the grooves, and a flair for the dramatic - lounging like she owns the stage or playfully swatting at her favorite toy. This girl knows how to steal the spotlight!

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind feline with charisma, sweetness, and just the right amount of 80s anthem energy, Gloria is your girl. Don’t keep her waiting - come meet this tabby sensation today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
