Meet Amethyst!

Amethyst is a radiant 3-month-old Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Alongside her sisters, Sapphire and Topaz, Amethyst was saved from a kill list by Sunny Bear Rescue with the incredible support of SWVA Animal Haven.

Her glossy black coat with a delicate touch of white highlights her natural beauty. Amethyst is as sweet as she is playful, making her a great companion for kids and other dogs. Given her age, she’ll likely adjust well to cats, too. She’s not house-trained yet but does well in her crate and is eager to learn and grow with her new family.

Amethyst will grow to be a medium-sized dog and is currently at Sunny Bear Rescue while she waits for her forever home. If you’re searching for a loving pup with a bright future, Amethyst is ready to bring joy and love to your family!
