Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saylor is a 14 month old, 9-pound Chihuahua mix with a unique twist—she’s got the sleek, elegant legs of an Italian Greyhound! This little firecracker may be small in size, but she’s big on personality and energy. With her playful spirit and sweet demeanor, she’s sure to bring endless joy to her new family.
Saylor is a delightful combination of a cuddle bug and a player. At home, she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for a cozy cuddle session. Her affectionate side will melt your heart as she snuggles in close for a good nap or a quiet evening of bonding. But don’t let her love of lounging fool you—outside in warmer weather, Saylor is a speedster! She does the zoomies and enjoys running around the yard with enthusiasm, showcasing her athletic side. Her playful energy is contagious, and watching her sprint around is sure to bring a smile to your face. Saylor does not enjoy our cold weather. She will happily use a potty pad but doesn’t like wading out in the snow to go potty.
Though Saylor can be a bit shy when meeting new people or entering new environments, her trust is earned quickly with patience and gentle encouragement. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes an affectionate and loyal companion. She does well with other dogs and cats, making her an excellent addition to a multi-pet household. Saylor loves to play and would enjoy another dog in her home that would play with her.
Because of her active nature and love for outdoor exploration, Saylor requires a physically fenced yard to keep her safe while she’s running, playing, and enjoying the great outdoors. A securely fenced yard will also give her a safe space to burn off energy and play to her heart's content.
While Saylor may start off a little reserved, once she settles into her new home, she’ll quickly show you just how much love and joy she has to offer. Whether she's curling up on the couch with you or racing around the yard in pure excitement, Saylor will keep you on your toes and fill your life with love and laughter.
If you’re looking for a small, energetic dog who is just as happy being your lap companion as she is running in the yard, Saylor might just be the perfect match for you! Come meet this sweet, spunky girl and see if you’re the family she’s been waiting for!
Saylor is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
