My story

This charmingly handsome boy's name is McCartney and he is a little puppy born to a Pure Basset momma who had a litter of six pups. Mccartney is a very sweet gentle lay back little guy who is 12 weeks old and weighs fourteen pounds. He is a comical little thing that loves to sniff the ground and run on his short little Basset legs and sit in your lap for sweet cuddles and kisses. This little guy is learning what a warm house and good food two or three times a day is all about. He has a Big Brother who is an adult Golden Retriever male, and he is learning a lot from this 80 pound dog who belongs to his foster parents. McCartney is going to be a head turner with his vivid white and black spotted long body, short little legs and his sweet endearing face framed with those Hound dog ears. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
