New Year, New Me!

Hi Everyone!  Now that the holidays are over, my New Year's Resolution is to find the perfect family to make all my dreams come true.  My name is Skunky Monkey, yes that's what my foster Mom named me, anyone know who I can talk to about that?  I am listed as a terrier mix, but there may be some poodle in the mix because my fur is super soft and I really don't shed.  I am 7 months old and weigh in at just under 8 pounds so full grown I may reach 12 to 15 pounds.  I am potty trained if kept on a schedule and I sleep all night in my kennel.  I get along great with the other dogs here in my foster home.  I have met the kitty cat and the more comfortable I become the more interested I am in her.  I don't really want to hurt her, my mission is to annoy her!  Foster Mom says I have no sense of "personal space", whatever that means.  What can I say, I love being close to you.  I love to run zoomies around the yard, kitchen island and even the sofa.  Yup, when I run zoomies in the family room it is around the room, up to the back of the sofa, down and around again.  I am super fast and may be secretly training for an Olympic event!  I have learned all about doggie toys and bones here and will chase a ball or squeak toys and then settle down for a good chew session on the bones.  I have met larger dogs and do well with them with a good introduction.  Foster Mom says another dog in the home would help me learn the ropes and give me a friend to play with.  I am super smart with a lot of puppy energy so how about you sign us up for some training classes so we can bond and help teach me some tricks? I will bark when the doorbell rings or someone new comes in but I settle down quickly.  I do also have a soft quiet side and love to cuddle, in fact when I am sitting on the back of the chair or sofa I love to lay my little head on your shoulder and will watch TV with you. A fenced yard will be a big bonus.  Let's get this party started, fill out an application so you can come and meet me!
