Why I need a new home

Relocating

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amoria appeared one night while I thought, “this walk would be better with a dog” and there she was, flopping over onto her back and accompanying me home. I searched for her family, and soon became it, driving her from Texas to California for her new life.

Since then, Amoria has enjoyed playing, walks, new adventures & friends. She is an energetic and loving dog. She is loyal, protective & playful. She loves coziness and cuddles.

Unfortunately Amoria also deals with reactivity which means: leash reactivity and pulling on walks, severe excitement seeing other dogs when on leash, jumping on people, & under certain conditions nipping or biting to communicate.

Amoria would benefit from an experienced dog handler who has time to give her proper training. She is very smart & picks up tricks and commands easily, including: sit, down, leave it, stay, up, off, find (objects like a phone/ her toy), roll over. Behavior management will support her safety & wellbeing to stay a happy pup!
