If it’s a new start you’re thinking about, I have just the answer for you: Me! I can’t wait to begin my life with someone like you who loves to get outside and have fun. I have enough energy for us both so we can not only run around the dog park in the morning, we can hike in the mountains in the afternoon. Maybe we could stop by for an ice cream on our way home? The folks here have commented on my striking good looks and my willingness to learn. I get all A’s in most everything except being around cats and other small creatures which are nopes for me. How about we begin anew together? I’ll be ready as soon as you say, “Yep, she’s the one!”

Adoptions are completed on a first come, first served basis. Please note there may be a wait to meet with a pet, dependent on advisor availability.

Please allow plenty of time to meet your perfect pet. Once you have selected a pet, the adoption process will take at least 30 minutes. We do not begin the adoption process after 5:30 pm.

Animal Humane New Mexico performs a background check on all adopters & does not adopt to anyone who has committed a violent crime. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption for any reason.

Please note, visitors must wear their mask indoors at all Animal Humane locations.
