Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you have a heart for gentle giants, Moose is ready to steal yours! This sweet boy has overcome so much in his young life. Rescued from a backyard breeding situation, Moose was severely malnourished until his loving rescuers discovered he could be fed with blended meals. Thanks to their care, he’s now a healthy, happy pup, but he needs a new home where he can receive the love and attention he truly deserves.
Moose has some medical needs, including suspected bilateral mandibular osteopathy and chronic hypertrophic osteodystrophy (HOD), which limit his ability to fully open his mouth. Despite this, he’s a sweet, gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids. His future family will need to ensure he continues to receive proper nutrition through blended meals, but the reward of his love is beyond measure.
Moose will need to be neutered through our program once he’s fully matured for his health, but for now, he’s ready to start his next chapter with a foster or forever family.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who’s overcome so much and has so much love to give, Moose is waiting for you!

More about this rescue
We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. Our adoptable cats are located in our H.O.P.E. Pet Adoption Center in the Wilton Mall and dogs are in individual foster homes.
We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.
We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.
