My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Sutton is very friendly with strangers and loves to interact with humans. Whenever we have guests, he greets them and enjoys getting to know them. He is always a part of our group hangouts... he is an easy, social cat who loves to play and will warm up to anyone he meets! He has funny habits such as sitting in cardboard boxes, laying on his back with his belly and all legs up, and zooming down our long hallway. Even though he loves to play and is energetic, Sutton has a gentle quiet meow and loves to cuddle up on you. He is a big cuddler and is very easy to handle.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

Sutton tolerates attention and some petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.

A volunteer writes: If Adoptions is a party, Sutton is in the middle and probably doing his "impressions" His best are his sloth and bicycle. It's kind of a mix, but anyway Sutton is there! He was sleeping on his Kurnada bed when I opened his condo door and he stretched his paws out at me like it was the greatest surprise of his life. Playfully draping his paws down, he looked at me with his bright and hopeful face, seeming to ask, "Ok great, where are we going?" I love that happy go lucky attitude, but his question was perhaps rhetorical because Sutton has all the plans and he loves to invite his visitors to join. Rolling around upside down, snuggling his toys, or tossing them off and acting surprised about it are probably the cutest things he can do (not to mention his little cuddles). Sutton was abandoned at our Care Center doors, so while we don't know much about his life before coming to us, we can certainly say he's striving to be the life of the party now!
