Meet Hoagie!
Observed by shelter staff:
Hoagie is a 6 year old intact male mixed breed dog! Hoagie has been having a really rough time here at the shelter. He has been stressed out the whole time he has been here. Hoagie did great for vaccines and his evaluations. He seems to walk decent on leash and ignores other animals while walking. Hoagie does not like being in his kennel which is one of the big causes of his stress however once he is out he does great. He loves romping around and playing in the yard. Hoagie did good meeting a female dog slightly bigger than him and takes corrections well. We would recommend a meet and greet here at the shelter with other dogs that will be in the home. Hoagie is also a great candidate for fostering and would benefit a lot from being in a home where he can decompress and be a dog.
