Amery was picked up as a stray in a neighboring town and taken to their local human society where, unfortunately, they had no room to accept her. With the cold upon us, we immediately said "come on in" when the finder reached out to us for help.
Amery is an older, calm, quiet, and affection petite lady. She is so very, very sweet! She has proven to be good with other cats and children but dogs are an unknown. She would be a perfect companion for someone living in an apartment or smaller townhome as she's not terribly active (at least that we've seen) and is content to lay in windows and watch what's going on around her. While she's good with other cats, it is evident that she isn't dependent on them and would be totally fine as an only cat.
