Hans is 14 years old. We took him in because my mother was going through a terrible divorce and his owner left him with mats all over his coat and living in a cage, so we took him in to live with us and our two other dogs to clean him up and get him settled. He is an extremely sweet dog, but he struggles with our other dogs because they are much younger than him. He is very easygoing, has a bit of a fear of kennels now (rightfully so) and some anxiety from being left behind, so he has been a bit spoiled since living with us. He would be a great addition to anyone who has time to spend with him, and he does well with kids, we have a toddler that has not had an issue with him at all.
