Westbrook is an adorable cat who contains multitudes. Don't let him fool you with his initially shy demeanor. Once he gets to know you, Westbrook will quickly show his true colors as the playful, chatty, affectionate little guy he was born to be.
At 5 years old, Westbrook is full of energy but will likely require a bit of patience as he warms up to his new environment. He is timid about loud or unfamiliar noises, or sudden movements, and can be skittish when new people approach him. But if you give him plenty of space and time to adjust he will be demanding pets and playtime before you know it. Westbrook is obsessed with his wand toy and small toy mice, and will bat and chase them around for as long as you'll let him! When he wants attention he will be sure to let you know with plenty of cute chirps and squeaky meows. When he's not playing, Westbrook is more than happy to chill with you on the couch. Just be sure to make yourself available to give him plenty of pets, chin scratches, and brushing when he cuddles up by your side.
An ideal home for Westbrook would be a very quiet one with no small children or other pets. Someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule would be a great fit for him so that he can get the occasional playtime and attention he needs to thrive during the day. He will also need a dedicated room to himself where he can feel safe for his first week or so, in order to decompress and adjust to his new space.
