My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

May I introduce two gorgeous and hilarious 4 months old felines that have a very interesting tale. Please meet Cindy, the Russian Blue and Sabrina, the Bullseye tabby with white corners. Their mom was a neighborhood stray who hid these babes well on private property, over a very tall fence. When the time came to wean them, she delivered them over to me and left. Oddly, the day before, she had brought me three more, who tamed immediately. These two were staying by their mama and helped her dry up, before I got my hands on them. Since then they have taken over the house with their play, their silliness and general Indy 500 activities. They are stunning lovebugs. Two of the prettiest kittens I have ever had in foster. They love food and treats dearly, but are alo professional nappers. 100mph to coma in 1 second flat. They rade around the backyard, attacking sticks and leaves and, of course, each other. They are lap cats and feel like silk. They love watching videos on my phone and will sit directly in front of the TV and get involved with current programs. They purr like motorboats and will be excellent and hugely entertaining companions. And yes, they are completely bonded, so it is only a twofer. And I have learned, that is best anyway. Doubts? Google 'are two kittens better than one.' They adore toys, treats and silly things. Balls are the current favorite. They will be shy at first, as most are, but what a blast they are! Cindy is like looking into a cloud and Sabrina is like holding a mini Ocelot. She was clearly the runt and had to work hard to survive. I think she will always be a Minicat. Please give these doll sisters a chance. They are perfect little companions and deserve their own palace. Indoor/outdoor (with supervision) just fine. Please be certain they are in at night. Minor ear tips necessary at spaying. Think of it as their wild tattoo. Please contact Sandi 512-779-3278, Coperras Cove. Minimum donation of $200 applies for the 2 kittens, representing a portion of the cost of veterinary care and food.

More about this rescue

We are primarily a feral or stray cat rescue organization, dedicated to ending the killing of feral cats by local animal controls and shelters. This is accomplished by reducing the number of cats using TNRM (trap, neuter, vaccinate, return, maintain) methods. In the process, some abandoned stray friendly cats and many kittens come into our system who need homes. We are not a shelter, so these are all fostered in our homes, making them really special cats. Volunteers are always needed for trapping, feeding colonies, education, and fostering. Call (512) 709-7020. And of course, donations are always welcome.
