My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pedro is a 10-month-old black and tan shepherd mix who’s ready to bring joy and love into your life. He’s a sweet, intelligent pup with a heart of gold – especially when treats are involved! Pedro absolutely adores humans and will show you just how much with his warm, affectionate nature. He`s incredibly sensitive to his surroundings, which makes him highly attuned to the world around him, and he`s looking for a calm, loving environment where he can thrive.

Pedro is a quick learner and already knows how to sit on command, along with making excellent eye contact that shows off his intelligence and eagerness to please. His sensitivity also means he`s a mindful and observant companion, always aware of how he`s feeling and what’s going on in his space.

If you`re looking for a loving, loyal dog who`s ready to bond with you, Pedro just might be your perfect match. Come meet him today and see how he’ll steal your heart!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
