My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker is a 2 month old Chihuahua mix. We know mom was a long-legged Chihuahua type, but we have no idea about the dad. Foster mom says that Tucker is a very sweet, quiet little guy who loves to explore, play with his brother, then "tucker" out in your lap, ready to nap. Tucker will sit at foster mom's feet and look up at her, waiting patiently to be picked up and cuddled. Who could resist those eyes? Tucker sleeps through the night and is making great progress on his potty training. He's a smart little guy and wants to please his people, so he should be easy to train. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
