This happy go lucky puppy is named Holly! Holly is so people-oriented, social and friendly and sweet with everyone she meets. She’s goofy, fun and and full of puppy joy, with she has the sweetest soft and snuggly side to her as well!
We believe that Holly is an AmStaff, American Pit Bull Terrier mix, though she is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. Holly is estimated to be around 6 months old, and currently weighs in around 35 pounds.
Holly is great with other dogs, she’s a rambunctious and fun player! The life of the doggy party, and a joy for the other dogs to have around. She has shown us that she can be respectful when other dogs don’t want to play with her, too! She also has an adorable habit of “checking in” with her humans during playtime- a great sign for future trainability .
Holly loves treats, and she will work for them! She’s food motivated, which will make further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. She’s eager to please and loves to learn, she’s getting better on leash every day and learning basic commands.
Holly is currently living in a foster home with her loving foster mom and her resident dogs. Holly does well with her doggy foster siblings, and loves to snuggle with her foster mom! She’s such a lovebug!
Holly is ready to find forever love! This sweet girl would love a home with doggy siblings, but could do well as a solo-dog as well. She would love to soak up 100% of your affection! Holly can be a vocal player, so we do not recommend her for apartment living. This sweet girl would absolutely adore a home with a yard, where she can run and play and stretch her legs. We are willing to test Holly with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!
The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
