My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whinnie is a 2 YO purebred Beagle who came in with both of her parents (Vinnie and Skye), as well as some puppies and a Terrier. She is super sweet and as you can imagine, very good with other dogs! She lived in a household with 4 kids too!

She loves attention and will jump up on her hind legs for a treat or even some love. :) She is fully housetrained and crate trained and walks well on a leash.

She is a beagle, so she will follow her nose, so cannot be left outside unattended, or might try to dig out to find some fun outside of her confines. If you are out in the yard with her, she is perfectly content, though. While she would love the company of another dog in the home, she could be an only dog.

Whinnie is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and spayed, and fostered in Sarasota. Her adoption fee is $400.

If you are interested in meeting Whinnie, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process.

If you have completed an adoption application with us before, please send us an email to indicate your interest in this sweet girl to Info@Love4PawsFL.org.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
