I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Quiana - a gorgeous kitty. I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitty self!

What The Shelter Says About Me: Quiana, with her little round face, looks like a little baby doll. She would take a selfie of herself if she could! Quiana was found in the shelter parking lot but seemed evasive. When the weather turned cold - she came running up to one of the volunteers and asked to be taken indoors! Per that volunteer - 'The transformation was incredible! I was able to just pick her up with my hands and bring her inside - no scratching or anything. The next day when I saw her, she was very sweet and affectionate, playing with toys.' This girl checked herself into a warm friendly place! She has a sweet disposition and loves to have attention - offering love and purrs to people who stop by and see her. We think she can entertain herself for part of the time if her person is not always there, but she would be really happy to see them when they came home! During her spay the vet did comment that she was a little overweight...maybe she is going to be a large framed girl or maybe she needs portion control. But we just wanted to share for Quiana's best health!

What my Foster Says About Me: Coming soon!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
