My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

young, super sweet soul with a playful spirit. I love to cuddle and show my affection. I'm gentle and loyal, always ready to cheer you up with a friendly nudge or a game of fetch. I've spent time around kids, and I must say, I liked them. I'm smart too. I know some commands, how to use a dog door and I'm eager to learn.  So, why should you adopt me? Because I promise to fill your life with laughter, loyalty, and lots of love. I'm ready to be your forever friend, are you ready to be mine? I. came in with Waylon and Gia. We don’t need to be adopted together; we each just want a home. We’re not sure how I am with cats. Come fall in love with me at the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, Ohio or call 419-946-1747 for more info. Please share me so I can find my furever home!

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
