My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 1/2 year-old lady with a heart full of love to share. I'm sweet as honey and pint size perfection at 46lbs. I'm all about cuddles and soaking up affection. I know some commands and even how to use a dog door. I'll need to meet all my housemates. I'm not just a pretty face, I'm full of personality and charm. If you're looking for a loyal, loving friend who will bring joy to your everyday life, I'm your girl! We aren't sure how I am with cats. I did come in with Waylon and Chip but I don't need to be adopted with them. I just want a home! Come fall in love with me at the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH 419-946-1747 or call for more information. Please share me if I'm not the perfect fit for your family.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
