Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Foofy, a four year old, friendly boy who was recently rescued from a feral colony at a mechanical shop. Foofy is far from a feral cat though, he is social with people and generally gets along with other cats. He would do equally well as the solo cat in a household, but is interacting fine with other cats at Safe Haven shelter. We don't think he has ever encountered a dog and his sense of survival may make him fearful, defensive towards canines.
Foofy's soft, medium-length tabby coat features lovely stripes of brown and grey, and he's happy to show if off during frequent sunbaths. Whether basking in a warm beam of sunlight or curled up on a window perch, this little sun seeker is all about comfort and relaxation. He has a curious side, especially when it comes to all things mechanical or moving. He loves to 'help' around the shelter by inspecting and investigating anything that makes noise or moves. His fascination with gadgets and gizmos must come from his history in a Subaru mechanic's shop, but he is very relieved to be an indoor only, house cat now. He'll be sure to perch beside you offering moral support as you tackle your latest home project!
Brushing and head/chin scratches are his love language! He purrs contentedly as you comb through his lovely coat, reveling in the attention and bonding time. His friendly nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a laid-back, charming cat with a knack for finding the coziest spots in a home.

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.
