Destiny is a young, spirited Wire Fox mix with a heart full of love and a boundless supply of energy! This sweet girl adores human attention and will happily soak up all the affection you have to give. With her zest for life, Destiny would make an amazing hiking or running buddy—she’s always up for an adventure!

Her enthusiasm can make her a bit jumpy and mouthy when she gets excited, so she’d thrive in a home with children aged 14 or older who can match her energy and help her refine her manners. Destiny’s playful and affectionate personality makes her a wonderful companion for an active family ready to embrace her fun-loving spirit. Could she be the girl for you?

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
