My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Sadie Ann is a 20 month old spayed Husky with beautiful blue eyes. She came to ARPO as a stray. She was roaming the neighborhood and one of our fosters jumped into action to save her. Unfortunately, Sadie Ann was positive for heartworm. Thanks to ARPO and our wonderful volunteers, she has been successfully treated for heartworms and is doing very well! She is well behaved and likes lots of affection. She likes people, cats and other dogs. Sadie Ann enjoys walks, toys and car rides. She would do well in a home with other active dogs, cats and older children. Sadie will require an active family committed to walking her daily. A 6ft fence would be ideal. Sadie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and potty trained.
