My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a spunky, fun-loving pup with a heart as big as her personality. She`s incredibly friendly and will charm her way right into your heart. Whether it’s with her wagging tail or her affectionate cuddles, Midnight is a natural at making everyone feel special. Her playful energy will keep you on your toes, and her loving nature will keep your heart full. Midnight would thrive in a home where she can be part of the action—whether that’s playtime in the yard, long walks, or snuggling up on the couch after a day of adventures. Midnight is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment. To meet Midnight, please call 843-249-4948 to schedule an appointment, or you can submit an application at https://humanesocietynmb.org/dog-adoption-form/

Additional adoption info

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.

Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
