Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Joseph is a large breed puppy who's down to earth and ready to warm hearts. Joseph is about 13 pounds currently and is expected to be a big boy, but a chill one at that! Joseph likes to relax, and do his own thing. He's very independent and though he loves people, he has a medium energy level compared to most puppies, including his sibling. Joseph likes to relax, take naps, and goof around with other dogs or toys once in a while. He's almost completely pee pad trained and is working on outdoor potty training. Joseph has been socialized with other dogs, cats, and people. He's still learning, and can be shy at first, but warms up in a heartbeat. Joseph knows the command "sit" and is kennel trained. Joseph is very cautious and careful with older dogs and did very well with his foster's dog who's typically reactive. He's not very vocal, unless he's playing with his sibling and prefers to sleep in a puppy bed at night time. Joseph would be an excellent addition to a family with kiddos, or other animals.

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
