My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Bernie the Beagle! I know what you're thinking, "oh my gosh, he’s so cute!" You'd be correct, I am just adorable. I’m a smaller beagle, I only weigh about 24 pounds. I love to be with my people and absolutely love going for a walk. I am a typical beagle on a walk, so my nose leads the way and my tail wags the whole time.

I am about 1 year old, so I am the perfect age, pretty much out of the puppy energy and chewing. I sleep quietly in my pen at night too. I’m not 100% house trained, but I am doing great. I have had a lot of change lately, so my foster mom says it’s ok, I’ll get the hang of it.

Think of the adventures we could have and potential free food with this darling face.I can be your taste tester, lap warmer, or even an Instagram influencer if that's your thing. So, let's just cut to the chase and have your people call my people, and we can set up something.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
