Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky is a very sweet cat, who would do well as the only cat, or with other animal companions in a large enough home. She loves to sit with you, and will occasionally get on your lap. She does give love bites when happy. She's pretty laid back with a low energy level, and would love to find a forever home where she can be a loving companion. She gets along with other animals, but wouldn't mind being an only cat or just having the company of her son, Lightening.
Lucky is a very lucky cat indeed. She was hit by a car on Front Beach Road minutes before one of our directors came along. She saw Lucky sitting in the road, the cat still stunned and in shock, just looking at the cars rushing by her. Already on her way to the vet (again, lucky), our director scooped Lucky up with the help of two nice onlookers (no one else stopped to help) who kept cars from hitting her too, and in minutes Lucky was being treated for her various injuries.
Later, the vet realized she was nursing kittens before the accident. We immediately set out looking for her babies. We found three, one that had been dead for a while, and two grey tabby kittens about one week old (eyes and ears still closed). They were along the side wall of the flyover, and were rushed to be with their mother. The third one was buried where she was found.
We could not believe the two babies survived for over three days without their mother, in the terrible rainstorms. One of the babies (Thunder) was very weak, and despite an initial improvement, passed away early on May 4 during another stormy night.
Lucky is a tame cat who was fending for herself outside. Despite everything that has happened to her, she still loves attention and being petted. She is now spayed and ready for adoption!
