Julie is an 8 pound Terrier mix who was born May 5, 2023 in Missouri. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She currently lives with two 20 pound dogs and two cats. She enjoys running and chasing squirrels in the fenced in backyard. She sleeps all night quietly in the foster bed with the other dogs. She does bark when excited but learning to attain calmness more quickly. She does not have patience for small children so it would be best for her to have a home without children.
Julie does not do well on a leash attached to a collar, she needs to use a harness when on leash. Julie would do best in a home with someone home a lot or another dog in the home to keep her company.
She has a good appetite and enjoys her daily chew treat. Julie is a sweet, snuggly little dog who would be an excellent choice for any dog loving adult.

Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:
- Wellness check
- Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate)
- Age appropriate vaccines - rabies and distemper combo
- Heartworm test if over 7 months of age
- Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites
- Microchip ​
~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care.
