Rain Kitty Local is in Rhode Island and looking for his furever home!

All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate vetting. The adoption donation for our kittens is $250.00 which is fully refundable should the kitten not be the right fit for you within the first week of adoption.

We do not have a cat application form set up yet, so please fill out our current general application and note the cat/kitten's name in the "interested in" column so we know who you are applying for. Please note, many of these application questions will not pertain to a cat. We are currently trying to revamp our website to accommodate for cats/kittens. Thank you for understanding!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

2.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

3.
Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
