Freya is a sweet two-year-old who has a mostly calm demeanor but is also always up for playing with her doggy companions or going for a walk. She's a cuddly girl who enjoys human affection and treats. She loves to lay her head on your lap and look at you with love in her eyes. She mostly plays well with the other dogs she has been around but prefers to be the alpha dog. She is good on a leash and doesn’t stray too far away in the yard at her foster home. Her charming blond fur with black markings and endearing "Yoda ears" make her even more lovable. She is gentle with kids and has even gently nuzzled up to a visiting baby. She has quickly learned to use the dog door and to sit, demonstrating her intelligence and eagerness to please. While she's generally good with children and other dogs, she can become anxious in some overly stimulating environments. We do think that once she settles into a family of her own, this will improve. She is eager to love and be loved. With patience and understanding, we believe Freya will thrive and become a most cherished companion. She simply needs a loving home to help her adjust to her new life. After saying good bye to her puppies she is ready for a life of her own.
