My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To say Willow is a brown tabby is accurate, but doesn't tell you just how lovely and distinctive she is. Her coat is not the usual tabby's, but has a couple of horizontal stripes running the length of her back. Add to that her pretty face and you will see she's a special tabby. Willow is barely one year old, and has some kitten like behaviors. She likes playing and will be willing to snuggle and lap sit when she finds the right humans...could that be you?

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Heartland Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit serving South Bend & surrounding cities. We are comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who work to find loving homes for homeless pets in our area.

Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
