My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**ONLY AVAILABLE AT OUR 1/11 ADOPTION EVENT IN DORCHESTER**

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes
Good with kids: Unknown, likely yes
Crate trained: Yes
House Trained: Mostly

Olive is a sweet, laid back little girl. She just goes with the flow. She has normal puppy energy and after playing for a little while, she is ready for a nap. She loves meeting new people and being held. Olive loves to cuddle up on the couch with her person in the evenings.

She loves to play outside, run around with other pups and find every stick in the yard to chew on. She loves other dogs and is submissive to bigger dogs. Olive has only seen a cat through the fence and was curious but did not bark. She is so easy going that she would most likely be fine with a cat. She is not mouthy and does not jump, so she would most likely be fine with kids.

Olive likes to play with all toys, but her favorites are nylabones and squeaky toys. She will go in her crate for a treat and is starting to learn “sit”. She is beginning to work on her leash walking skills and is doing pretty well so far. Olive is mostly house trained. She will go to a potty pad if is not let out quick enough, but does not have accidents on the floor.  She is crate trained and settles very quickly when put inside it. Olive does love to have soft blankets and a stuffed animal to cuddle with in there.

She has so much love to give- is she the one for you?

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
