My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Potter the most adorable 2-year-old, 22-pound Beagle/Rat Terrier mix has a heart full of love and an endless zest for life! This loveable pup is making his way to New Jersey with his sister Angel all the way from Kentucky on January 12, and he’s eager to find his forever home.

Potter is the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate charm. Whether it’s chasing after his favorite toy, exploring the outdoors, or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, Potter is always ready to brighten your day.

His compact size and sweet nature make him a great fit for any family. Potter gets along well with other dogs, and his friendly demeanor is sure to win over everyone he meets.

While we aren’t certain he is completely house trained, he does keep his kennel clean and we are confident he will be housebroken quickly.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will bring joy and adventure into your life, Potter is your guy. Don’t miss the chance to make him a part of your family—this little guy is ready to steal your heart!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
