Max was brought in by his previous owner on January 3, 2025.

Meet Max, a little dog with a big heart! Max can be shy at first, but once he warms up, he's a loyal and loving companion. He has lived with other dogs before but prefers to have his space when it comes to toys and food, so careful management is key. Max has spent his life outdoors, so he's looking for a patient family to help him learn the ropes of indoor living, including potty training and basic manners. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
