Zachariah is a 7 month old male Lab mix, who is eagerly waiting to join your family and start his new life! With his friendly, outgoing personality and playful nature, Zachariah is sure to win your heart the moment you meet him. He shares a pen with his sisters and their mom, Mary, and it’s usually Zachariah who is the first to greet anyone who comes by. It’s clear that he loves being with people! Zachariah is also a bit of a 'watchdog', often vocalizing when someone approaches the pen, as if he's alerting his pack to new visitors. Like most pups his age, he enjoys running and playtime - either playing with his siblings or (even better) playing with you! Zachariah is still a young pup, which means he has a lot of potential to grow into the best companion you could ask for. He’s eager to learn, and with the right guidance and training, he’ll be the perfect addition to your home. All he needs is a loving family who’s ready to invest in his growth, and give him the attention and care he deserves. And in return he’s ready to bring endless joy, love, and loyalty into your life!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
