Bunnie (9 y/o) and Binky (6 y/o) are a mother and son, BONDED PAIR of
adorable, tiny black Shih Tzu. They came to our rescue from a breeder who was unable to give them proper care. They were very underweight and had some minor physical
deformities that prevented them from walking well. With good nutrition and
gentle exercise, now they are up to 4.5 lbs. each, and run and play like champs! They
are an extremely easy pair to love – puppy pad trained, playful and affectionate. They
love to snuggle with you and each other. They love to go outside when it’s warm
enough. They are good on a leash. but are really too small to walk far. They are also too small to do stairs, but are happy to be carried up and down them. Bunnie and Binky are good in the car, good with other gentle dogs and would love to sleep with you. However, they spend the night in their own bed, where they can easily get up and use the puppy pad when they need to. This precious Shih Tzu duo is fostering in the Northeast area of the USA. Please visit our main site for more information or to apply to adopt.

More about this rescue
Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue, Inc. is a national rescue organization that is dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of toy purebred and mixed breed dogs. We accept dogs in need from shelters, other rescuers, and individuals giving up their pets for a variety of reasons. Our furbabies are examined and treated by our veterinarians, innoculated, and spayed or neutered before placement. They are also thoroughly temperament assessed. We believe that, somewhere, there is a home for every dog, but that we have a responsibility to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience and loving hearts, and an understanding of the furbaby mind.
Shih Tzus and Furbabies, Inc is a non-profit organization recognized under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Your donation may be tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
