Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Han – The Gentle “Giant” with a Spring in His Step!
Han is the largest of his 2-month-old siblings at 10 pounds, but this lovable Lab mix is as laid-back as they come—until he sees his favorite people! Then his excitement knows no bounds—literally! Han has the cutest way of greeting you, bouncing with all four paws off the ground as if he just can’t contain his joy.
Han started his journey in a shelter and is now enjoying life in a foster home with his sister Leia and brother Luke. Despite his size, Han is a gentle soul who adores attention and loves to lounge around. His easy-going nature makes him the perfect companion for relaxing evenings, though he’s always up for a little playtime or adventure when you are.
Han is making great progress with potty training and goes outside like a champ when given the chance. Since his foster mom works full-time, he’s also getting used to using a litter box with a puppy pad. With a patient and loving family, Han will quickly master all his puppy skills. He’s also proving to be a quick learner, picking up basic commands like “sit” and “come” with ease.
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and slightly bouncy buddy to fill your home with love and laughter, Han is your guy. He’s ready to bring his big heart and happy energy to his forever home!
Could Han be the perfect addition to your family? He’s waiting to meet you and show off his joyful bounce!
Han is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
