Here's what the humans have to say about me:
URGENT: Can you help me get my FREEDOM RIDE? I am currently in Texas awaiting my freedom ride to Wisconsin, but I need a FOSTER home or an ADOPTIVE home by JANUARY 18, 2025 to make the trip. Not all pups are lucky enough to get out but, with your help, I may just have that chance!
Can YOU help me get to Wisconsin? Please apply online: www.HBWI.org.
Meet Snow, a 4-month-old Great Pyrenees/ Retriever mix with a heart that is anything but cold! Snow and her friends Tilly and Birdie were found outside a home in rural Texas. A kind homeowner took them in, giving them a safe place to grow, and sparing them from the shelter altogether. Now, Snow is ready to make her way to Wisconsin for her next big adventure: finding her forever family!
Snow is as sweet as they come—calm, gentle, and a total cuddle bug. She loves being held like a baby and enjoys snuggling up with her people. She's great with other dogs and kids, and has a loving, laid-back nature. Snow has a freedom ride to Wisconsin on JANUARY 18th, 2025, but needs a FOSTER or ADOPTIVE home to make the trip. Could you be the one to help Snow to brighter days? Apply today! www.HBWI.org
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Go meet their pets
As a foster-based rescue organization, we do not have a central boarding facility for our animals. If you are interested in meeting one of our available animals, we highly encourage you to submit an adoption application. Once approved, you will be able to meet our animals.
