Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ziggy!
Ziggy is a 4-month-old, 9 lb Pug/Brussels Griffon mix with a big personality packed into her small frame! This adorable pup is on the hunt for her forever family and will bring endless joy to the lucky home that adopts her.
Ziggy is:
Dog-friendly and loves making new canine pals.
Cat-friendly, though she’s a little too curious at times! She enjoys playing with the playful kitty in her foster home but respects the boundaries of the grumpy one.
Playful and silly, always ready to brighten your day with her goofy antics.
The Great Outdoors? Ziggy LOVES it! Whether it’s exploring the yard, sniffing new scents, or just soaking up the fresh air, she’s happiest outside.
Training Superstar:
Ziggy is crate-trained for bedtime and when her humans are out, but she prefers the sound of people over music for comfort.
She’s working hard on potty training and already responds to “go pee pee” while also being pee pad trained.
She knows how to tackle small stairs but is still learning how to handle big ones.
Ziggy is a quick learner who is eager to please and already working on commands like sit, stay, come, and leave it.
What Else to Know About Ziggy:
She’s highly food motivated and LOVES mealtime, but she’s a fast eater, so enrichment toys help her pace herself.
She’s good on a leash but can pull a bit with excitement.
Ziggy adores her humans and wants to be wherever they are.
Ziggy is looking for a family ready to continue her training, provide plenty of outdoor adventures, and shower her with love. She does shed, so she isn’t suitable for homes with dog allergies.

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca.
Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country.
Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
