I adopted Lady from a humane society in Northern Michigan. She had been a stray in Detroit for an undetermined amount of time. Her age is guessed to be between 8 and 10 years of age, and my vet said she probably had a couple of pregnancies at some point. She is spayed now. She is sweet and loving with her people. Very much a cuddler.
She is slow to warm up to strangers. She has improved a lot since I have had her. She will sniff a new person, but she doesn't react well if a stranger reaches for her. She doesn't love other dogs while on a leash. Lady is a nervous girl and suffers from PTSD. She needs a calm, low key spot with someone who will be around a lot. Small children would be difficult for her.
