My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leah is a stunning calico with a heart as soft as her beautiful coat. Though she may be shy at first, her quiet charm and gentle spirit make her absolutely irresistible. Leah is the kind of kitty who thrives in a calm and patient environment, where she can take her time to feel safe and loved.

Once Leah begins to trust you, her sweetness will unfold like a hidden treasure. She has a tender way of showing affection, whether it’s a soft purr, a curious glance, or quietly sitting by your side.

If you’re looking for a special companion who will reward your kindness with a lifetime of love, Leah is waiting for you to help her find her confidence and bloom. Are you ready to give this shy calico the forever home she deserves?

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
