My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Manora was lying in the kennel asleep and was subdued upon being woken up, possibly due to his medical condition. He flinched slightly when approached and lip licked, but allowed all petting while remaining subdued with a tight body and somewhat fearful expression. It appears that his medical condition is affecting him to a degree that makes assessing him difficult. But based on his demeanor, we believe for the time being he should go to a home with some cat experience.

Please note that this cat has a severe medical condition so we may not be seeing any true behavior and behavior may change when the cat's medical condition improves.

Manora tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately nervous or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
