My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Jingles!

Hi there! Wondering what my name is? It’s Jingles! You guessed it—I was found around Christmas. No one came to claim me, but luckily, the rescue scooped me up just in time for the holiday.

At first, I was shy and a little scared of the world, but wow, have I blossomed! My foster mom says I’ve done a complete 180 and turned into your typical fun-loving, full-of-life 8-month-old puppy. Yep, I’m in that toddler phase all dogs go through—the one where we’re figuring things out, and you’ll need a bit of patience as I learn the ropes.

I absolutely love playing with the other dogs in my foster home and can run around until my energy tank is completely empty! At night, I’m happy to settle into my kennel for some quiet time, though during the day, I’m not as big of a fan—we’re working on it!

My perfect home wouldn’t have shared walls, as I have a beautiful husky howl that your neighbors might not appreciate as much as you do. I’d also benefit from some training classes to polish up my manners. I’m working on things like not jumping on people (not everyone loves my enthusiastic greetings), running full-speed through the house (oops, didn’t mean to knock you over!), and, well, keeping my paws off the counter—jelly sandwiches are apparently not for me!

I’m looking for an active family who will take me on adventures and help me channel my energy and working-dog smarts. In return, I promise to give you all the unconditional love you could ever want. Could I be the perfect match for you?

Let’s find out! ❤️

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Email is the best way to get a fast response (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com).
