Meet SAMMY JOE
SAMMY JOE is a wonderful Lab mix. Determining his breed has been a challenge. All we know is he adorable, loveable, and smart! A dandy dog is what we call him!

SJ is 3 years old and weighs 50 lbs. He needs to drop about 8 lbs. Regular walks will fix this quickly as he is not currently able to get them.

RIdes great in a vehicle, leash trained, potty trained, comes when called. He is a very loving guy. Loves his human. Loves hugs and kisses. He listens intently.

Fully vetted. Heartworm clear, neutered, all vaccines and preventatives are current.

Currently located in Gleason, (West TN). Transport out of state can be arranged with additional cost of $185.

We first require an adoption application be completed. We ask for vet references in addition to personal (non family) references. We then put you in touch with the foster parents to discuss the dog you are inquiring about. We feel this gives us a better understanding if the dog is a fit for your home. A contract is required upon approval and adoption fees are paid through pay pal or directly to our vet and the transport company.

More about this rescue

We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs-puppies come from various sources- individuals who must surrender their animals, unwanted litters, abandoned dogs, some from abused situations and we pull many from high kill shelters in West Tennessee. We started as a group of girls who wanted to make a difference. Today we have added a few guys and still our goal is the same. We also use part of the adoption fees to ensure all mothers we receive pups from are altered and offer when we can help to those who cannot afford to have their pet altered.
