*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. ***
Raisin is an amazing kitten with magic hands. He loves other cats and since he is a kitten he doesn`t hiss or claw at anyone, he just wants to be friends. Since day one, even though he was a stray from outside, he has used his litterbox correctly. He has a good appetite, and meows and purrs when visited in his isolated room. At first, I let him get acquainted with my two cats for a few weeks, but then I put him in a room away from the other cats because he needed socialization with humans. Since he has been in his room, he has become very friendly and less skittish although fast movements or loud noises sometimes still scare him. When he is happy, he purrs very loud even if he is sitting far away or in a cat tunnel hiding. He loves playing with cat toy balls, chasing lasers, and cuddling after he gets used to a space. He seems very intelligent and will grow up as a `normal house cat` if he gets good parents to adopt him. He probably would do well in a small house or apartment with other cats, but dogs might scare him (although he`s never met a dog, so I don`t know). I wish I could keep this kitten, but I already have two cats who are very egotistical, expensive, and time-consuming as it is! Whoever adopts this cat is lucky, he`s been vetted and approved by my cat-friendly home!
There is a rehoming fee to cover medical expenses.
